Roma hold lowest scoring record in 33 years

Roma continue their attacking struggles, oftentimes failing to find the back of the net despite creating many chances.

Such is the case with the Giallorossi this season.

If in Monza, before the break, Roma had created many situations to score and had only converted one, obviously with Dovbyk, the two subsequent games highlighted a different problem: the team scores little because it generates few situations to deserve it.

And so, doing the math, in 11 seasonal games it has only put 10 balls in the opponents’ goals.

According to Corriere dello Sport, this is the lowest scoring record Roma have had since the 1991/92 season, with Ottavio Bianchi on the bench and a difficult corporate transition between the Viola family and Giuseppe Ciarrapico. In that case, at the same point in the season, the goals were just 9.
