Sail on any voyage: Virgin Voyages launches 0K annual cruise pass

play

If a week or two on a cruise isn’t enough, Virgin Voyages guests can now spend a year at sea.

The adults-only cruise line is launching an annual pass, allowing passengers to sail on any voyage at any time in a 12-month period. The pass is good for any of the brand’s ships, including the forthcoming Brilliant Lady, which will debut in September.

The deal comes after the line launched a series of season passes.

“I’ve always been a big believer in the power of travel and adventure to spark creativity and bring clarity,” Virgin Group founder Richard Branson said in a Tuesday news release. “What started as a sought after ‘work from sea’ concept with our Season Pass has evolved into something even more special. Now, Sailors can jump aboard any of our ships, across an endless variety of exciting destinations for an entire year. We’re offering unlimited opportunities for adventure in a way that has never been done in cruising before.”

What are the terms of Virgin Voyages’ annual pass?

The offer is first-come, first-served and applies to two passengers in a Sea Terrace cabin (though they can upgrade for an additional cost). Passengers must purchase the pass by March 31, 2025.

The pass is good for one year from its start date, with a choice of either Jan. 1, Feb. 1, March 1 or April 1, 2025.

Virgin said on its website that “cabin availability is subject to overall voyage availability, and sailing on overlapping or impossible itineraries (e.g., marketing events or charters) are not allowed.”

How much does the pass cost?

The pass costs $120,000 – along with applicable cruise taxes and fees – and is non-refundable. The price includes complimentary laundry service, premium Wi-Fi, a $100 Bar Tab credit for drinks on each sailing, priority embarkation and more.

Travelers can inquire about booking by contacting the cruise line.
