Salem October Business of the Month

The Beautification Committee of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce awarded Sew Quilty with Business of the Month for October. This veteran-run shop is owned by Tara Nguyen. Sew Quilty recently celebrated its one-year anniversary in September and has received support from the city of Salem. The shop sells fabric, notions, custom-made quilts, classes and other gift items. Tara’s mother, Karen Beil, often helps at the store. The beautiful flowers outside Tara’s shop are displayed in a large planter box that was custom-built by her stepfather, Chris Beil.
