Salma Hayek Brings Bold Shoulders and a Bow Headpiece to Balenciaga’s Front Row for Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025 Show
Salma Hayek went high-low at Balenciaga‘s spring 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday. The actress, who was accompanied by her husband, Kering chief executive officer François-Henri Pinault, sat front row alongside fellow stars like Nicole Kidman and Katy Perry.
The actress paired a bold shoulder velour zip-up with a satin dress, topping off her look with a velvet bow headpiece. Pearl dangle earrings, diamond-encrusted bracelets and a large envelope clutch completed her ensemble.
Hayek wore her dark tresses in a sleek updo, while her makeup consisted of winged eyeliner, coral blush and a nude lip.
On Sunday, the “Without Blood” star attended Alessandro Michele’s first formal runway presentation for Valentino. Hayek made the case for pastels this fall, wearing a lilac lace skirt set with a matching satin turban. She accessorized with rose gold peep-toe platforms and oversize shades.
Pinault’s Kering, a luxury conglomerate, owns brands including Saint Laurent, Gucci and Balenciaga.
At Valentino, Michele succeeds designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, who exited the label after 25 years in 2024.
In a March Instagram post, Michele wrote that his new role comes with “enormous responsibility.”
“[Valentino] has engraved the word ‘beauty’ in a collective story made of research and extreme grace. My first thought goes to this story: to the richness of its cultural and symbolic heritage, to the sense of wonder that it has been able to constantly generate, to the very precious identity that its founding fathers, Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, gave it with unbridled love.”
Last month, Hayek and Pinault cohosted Kering’s third annual Caring for Women dinner. The company’s eponymous foundation, which is celebrating its 16th anniversary, raised $2 million to end gender-based violence. The event’s A-list co-chairs included Naomi Watts, Matthew McConaughey, Priyanka Chopra and Kim Kardashian.
