A leaker now claims that the Galaxy S25 is going to come out closer to its usual launch timeline
The upcoming Galaxy S25 series seems to be the center of attention in tech news, as reports keep surfacing every now and then, building users’ expectations on what the new lineup will include and the upgrades it would offer over its predecessor. Merely a day ago, IMEI Pham spotted a promotional survey of Samsung on X that suggested an earlier-than-usual release by the company and for the lineup to come out possibly on January 5th.
A renowned tipster, Max Jamber, posted on X that the date for the upcoming S25 lineup is going to be January 22nd, 2026. This aligns more with Samsung’s usual launch window for the series, as the Galaxy S24 lineup came out on January 17th at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024. Samsung also hinted about the potential unveiling of its next flagship models at the earnings announcement in October and suggested that the launch would be sometime in the first half of next year.

Since the tech giant generally opts for January or February to bring out its S series, and how the previous series did come out at the same time, the leak does seem reliable, and it looks like we could be seeing the premium models soon. However, till Samsung officially confirms the date, the leak should be taken with a grain of salt.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with upgraded Galaxy AI capabilities. Reports also suggest a Galaxy S25 Slim version will follow later. The Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra will be offered in seven different color options, while the S25 Plus will have eight colors. Three colors are also said to be reserved exclusively for the official website. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 lineup is said to offer some promising upgrades over its predecessor, and we might get some more insights on it, as the launch date approaches.
