San Diego athletes won 27 medals in 12 sports at the Paris Olympics; here’s a look at all of them
San Diego-are atheletes will come home from the 2024 Olympic Games with 27 medals in 12 different sports. Excluding single medals as part of a larger team and counting those won as part of two-person partnership as a half, San Diego County would have finished 21st as its own country on the Olympic medals table with 10.
Here’s a look at the medalists. All represented the United States, unless otherwise noted:
Gold medalists

Kelsey Plum (La Jolla Country Day): women’s basketball
Jaedyn Shaw (San Diego Wave FC): women’s soccer
