Sanctuary Collective more than tattoos and piercings
CHERRY VALLEY, Ill. (WIFR) – The co-owners of a new business call it the first tattoo/piercing parlor in Cherry Valley history as Sanctuary Collective hosts an official grand opening on Saturday.
The business has been open for more than a month though they haven’t had a chance to draw people in to see their space and the services they offer. TJ Kruger, who co-owns the place with Devin Hitch, says it’s fitting their business is included along the ArtScene route because it’s not just a space for people to get tattoos and piercings, it’s also a place to experience art in all forms, including oil painters and jewelry makers.
“It’s a bunch of artists coming together to decide what is best for the business together and work together. You draw inspiration off of each other. You work better when you have somebody next to you who is also striving to have the same goal,” says Kruger.
