Saoirse Ronan and her longtime love, Jack Lowden, are married!

The four-time Oscar-nominated actress exchanged vows with the Slow Horses star, according to multiple reports. The Irish Independent was the first to report on the union.

Ronan, 30, and Lowden, 34, tied the knot last weekend in an intimate ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland, that included family and close friends. The pair married at the Edinburgh Central Registrar’s Office, according to the register of Scottish civil marriages.

Ronan and Lowden first met on the set of the film Mary Queen of Scotts in 2018, and sparked a romance soon after. In the film, Ronan starred as the titular Scottish queen, while Lowden played Lord Darnley, Mary’s second husband.

The pair have kept their romance private over the past six years, with both stars routinely refusing to comment on their relationship. However, they have both appeared on each other’s social media platforms from time to time, albeit infrequently.

Lowden celebrated New Year’s Eve with a Ronan in a sweet post on Dec. 31, sharing a snapshot of himself and his ladylove in a mirror. He captioned the post, “NYE. Lang May yer Lum Reek. Be good, be bad, but fannies we are all.”
