Scarlett Johansson Deploys New Tech In Exclusive Jurassic World Rebirth Image

A new image from Jurassic World Rebirth shows Scarlett Johansson’s Zora Bennett deploying new tech as her cover operation for dinosaur DNA is underway. The story of Jurassic World Rebirth follows Johansson’s character as she teams up with paleontologist Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) and leader Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali) to gather dinosaur genetic material for a paying client. However, their mission becomes sidetracked when the Delgado family, led by father, Reuben (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), crash their boat into an island while being attacked by dinosaurs. This turns Zora’s journey not just into a job, but a rescue mission too.

Now, ScreenRant presents an exclusive image from Jurassic World Rebirth, showing Johansson’s Zora deploying new tech on her dinosaur DNA hunt. The lead can be seen crouching in front of a suitcase, with a mysterious technological-looking object inside. While it’s unclear what it is exactly, its purpose is likely to gather dinosaur DNA, potentially storing it on the green slide that appears right next to it. However, its exact nature in her mission remains unclear. Check out the new image below:

Though not every tool in Zora’s suitcase is clear just yet, it’s likely all related to this mission, especially given how equipped her and everyone else are in other images from the movie.

The latest movie in the dinosaur franchise is directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, The Creator) and written by David Koepp, who previously wrote the first Jurassic Park movie. While the new image doesn’t reveal too much about the upcoming film, it does tease the use of highly advanced tech in the story. Although the ending of Jurassic World Dominion saw dinosaurs now living among humanity, advanced tools are still necessary to gather specific data, like DNA, that the team needs during their mission.

Both the Jurassic Park and the Jurassic World movies struggled to improve their reviews, but Jurassic World: Rebirth can still salvage the series.

The cast of Jurassic World Rebirth will be spending a large amount of time hunting for dinosaurs, scouring the equatorial line for three of the largest as they gather their genetic data. Though not every tool in Zora’s suitcase is clear just yet, it’s likely all related to this mission, especially given how equipped her and everyone else are in other images from the movie. Since these tools are going to be necessary in their expedition, the suitcase might hold key plot significance depending on how heavily relied upon it is.

Since the reason Zora and her team are gathering dinosaur DNA remains unclear, perhaps the exact nature of the tech can hint at what the true purpose behind their mission really is.
