M&L Industries is expanding its Baton Rouge operations and moving to a higher profile location.

The Houma industrial equipment provider is scheduled to move into a new location near the Interstate 10-Siegen Lane intersection by July, said owner Steven Marmande.

The 47,000 square foot building at 10049 N. Rieger Road will be about double the size of M&L’s current location on Airline Highway. M&L has 23 employees in Baton Rouge and Marmande said the dealership will hire between 5 to 8 additional workers as a result of the move. M&L sells, rents and services tractors and forklifts. Faulk & Meek is the general contractor.
