Parish Pets is moving to Government Street.

The 8-year-old company, which sells handmade accessories, treats and toys for dogs and cats, will go into the former Hair Art & Company space at 4414 Government St., said owner Nikki Kipps.

The business plans to open by the end of the year, hopefully in time for White Light Night, she said.

The new location is more than double the size of Parish Pets’ current space a few blocks away at 548 S. Foster Drive. The additional space will allow the business to carry more items and food, Kipps said, and will lead to more employees.
