Several businesses struck in drive-by shooting in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Several businesses were struck by gunfire in a drive-by shooting in Colorado Springs on Friday around 4:43 p.m.
Colorado Springs police said they arrived to the 2300 block of South Academy Blvd., just south of Chelton Road for the shots fired call.
Police said several businesses were hit by gunfire but did not say the exact amount of businesses impacted. One business had employees inside at the time of the shooting, but none of them were shot.
Police said the suspect fled the scene before they could arrive, and as of Friday evening, police did not know who the suspect was.
