Sheriff: Drug house closed for business, 2 facing felony charges

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) – Two men were arrested on Wednesday following a search warrant stemming from a narcotics investigation in southern Illinois.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, just before 1 p.m. on August 14, deputies searched a home located at 608 E. Broadway in Johnston City. The home has been the subject of extensive drug activity.

Deputies found contraband inside, including a firearm that a convicted felon had in his possession.

The felon, David M. Lehman Jr., was cited for armed habitual criminal (Class X felony), methamphetamine possession (Class 3 felony), meth delivery (Class 2 felony), possession of a weapon by a felon (Class 3 felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor).

Another man, Timothy L. Hastings, was cited for two counts of meth delivery (Class 1 Felony), meth possession (Class 3 felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor).

Both men were placed in the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
