Sheriff: Man found with drugs in business parking lot
CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – A Clay County man is facing charges after police found fentanyl and methamphetamine on him.
The incident happened on Friday when police received a complaint of a man passed out behind the wheel.
Police told WYMT they went to the parking lot of a video arcade store on U.S. 421, approximately a mile and a half from downtown Manchester.
When deputies with the sheriff’s office arrived at the scene, they found David Ratliff, 43, of Manchester.
While pulling out his ID, police discovered Ratliff had nine grams of methamphetamine, several pills of fentanyl and $3,034 in cash.
Ratliff was arrested for trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and public intoxication.
He was taken to the Clay County Detention Center.
