Sherman Post Office, Celoron Boat Business Among Sales

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Aug. 1-7.

During that time period, the Ann Restivo Revocable Trust of Jamestown sold 109 Miller St., Sherman to APIF-New York, LLC of Foster City, Calif. For $275,000. That is the location of the Sherman Post Office.

APIF-New York, LLC purchased the Lakewood Post Office in May, 2023.

In a separate sale, Boatworks, LLC of Celoron sold 88 Boulevard Ave., Celoron to Wagon Wheel Pub, LLC of Strongsville, Ohio and Howard Investing LLC of Celoron for $680,000.

The Sherman Post Office was purchased in August by the same company that owns the Post Office in Lakewood.

That is the location of Boatworks, which does boat rentals, sales and storage. No changes in operation have been announced. A message left with Boatworks was not returned.

Including the sales previously mentioned, from Aug. 1-7 there were 10 sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 1929 Southwestern Drive, Busti sold for $400,000.

– A three-acre parcel on Route 394, North Harmon sold for $349,900. The parcel extends to Chautauqua Lake, not too far from Trolley Stop Lane.

– Unit No. III-15, Packard Estates Condominium III, Terrace Avenue, Lakewood sold for $289,900.

– 370 Wheeler Hill Road, Frewsburg sold for $289,900.

– 4370 West Lake Road, Chautauqua town sold for $280,000.

– 252 Water St., Fredonia sold for $275,000.

– 33 Mapleview Ave., Lakewood sold for $265,000.

– 6460 Charlotte Center Road, Charlotte sold for $262,500.

Ohio Rental Agency, LLC of Medina, Ohio sold a parcel on Route 394, North Harmony to Constance Depowski for $349,900. The property is vacant three acres and extends to Chautauqua Lake, not too far from Trolley Stop Lane.
