Shoals Solid Waste Authority to sell land to new business

TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WAFF) – The Shoals Solid Waste Authority has agreed to sell up to two acres of property in the Colbert County Industrial Park to a new business, according to our news partners at the Times Daily.

The board agreed to sell the property to Grass Life, a Muscle Shoals lawn care business that offers a wide variety of services.

Sheffield Mayor and SSWA Vice Chairman Steve Stanley said the authority agreed unanimously to sell the land for $18,000 per acre.

The industrial park is adjacent to the old Colbert County Landfill off U.S. 43.
