Alexandria‘s police department on Saturday said that a shooting incident at the Onelife Fitness gym left at least two people injured. There is no information about the suspect yet. Officials responded to a call at the 300 block of Hoffs Run Drive at Eisenhower Avenue just before 5 PM. They found two people who had been shot.

In a previous incident, a man was critically injured after being shot inside a Maryland LA Fitness gym following an argument on the basketball court. Authorities reported that police responded around 8:30 p.m. Thursday to the fitness center on the 9400 block of Ruby Lockhart Boulevard in Lanham.

Glenarden Police officials stated that two men had engaged in an argument on the gym’s basketball courts. One of the men then pulled a gun and shot the other six to seven times. The alleged gunman fled the scene in a white vehicle. Multiple witnesses observed the shooting.

The Prince George’s County gym, located in the Woodmore Towne Centre, was open and occupied at the time. First responders applied tourniquets to stop the victim’s bleeding. The gym was subsequently closed on Friday.

In another incident, two women were arrested for credit card theft from Gym Locker Room in Fairfax County. The Fairfax County Police Department reported receiving multiple larceny complaints from the women’s locker room at OneLife Fitness, located at 9250 Old Keene Mill Road in Burke, on January 25. After the thefts, the victims’ credit cards were used at several stores, including some in the City of Fairfax.

The initial investigation revealed five separate larceny reports from the same location between January 24-29. Surveillance footage and credit card transaction records identified Rayan Hassan, 25, of Annandale, and Sumaya Mendez, 30, of Lorton, as suspects.
