On Tuesday, October 15, the OG Victoria’s Secret angel Adriana Lima donned two angel lingerie sets for the Victoria’s Secret Runway Show in New York City.
The first look was a shiny black bikini triangle set with a studded criss-cross design laid on top. The glitzy black set was framed by pink and black plaid print sleeves and leggings, along with a glass-like pair of wings. While the criss-cross elements are not included for purchase, the Shine Triangle Bralette & V-String Panty Set is available now for $119.95 online.
Lima’s second appearance was a very demure, lacy red apron set. This flirty apron style features an all-over lace look with rhinestone straps, and two waist-side ties that can be tied like an apron against a thong panty. Everything but the cursive wings can be purchased for $89.95 online.
Coveted as a Victoria’s Secret angel in the early aughts, the Brazilian model’s career took off when she was only 15 years old. After her first year walking for Victoria Secret’s runway show in 1999, she was promptly promoted to an official Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2000. Since then, Lima has been the official spokesmodel for the brand, fronting ad campaigns in print and television, and becoming a household name across the world.
To this day, Adriana Lima is the only angel to wear a Fantasy Bra down the runway, not once, but three times in her career.
