Are you looking to get a jump on the hectic holiday shopping season? Look no further than the following five small businesses, all located on the Lower Shore of Maryland.
British Rose
British Rose, located at 18 North Main St. in the small town of Berlin, is owned and operated by Larnet St. Amant and her sister, Debbie. The home décor store officially opened for business in April 2023.
British Rose offers a large selection of goods such as kitchenware, home décor, handmade art, delicate glassware, tasty snacks, beauty products, dog toys and many more holiday-themed fun finds.
Una Bella Salute
Una Bella Salute, also located in downtown Berlin at 6 South Main St., offers a wide variety of natural goods such as olive oils, balsamic vinegars, handmade pastas, kitchenware, drinkware and more.
The small, family-owned business also features a large tasting room where customers can sample the finest premium extra virgin olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars prior to making a purchase.
Little Green Witch Apothecary
Little Green Witch Apothecary, located on the upstairs floor at 4F Bay St. in downtown Berlin, is a small woman/veteran-owned business offering custom-formulated and hand-blended herbal teas.
The shop’s wide selection of herbal tea blends are available to purchase as loose leaf or in convenient single-serve tea filters bags. Little Green Witch Apothecary also offers herbal body care products.
The Country Store
The Country House, located at 805 East Main St. in Salisbury, features a wide variety of holiday-themed and classic home décor, as well as candles, gifts, ornaments, faux floral bunches and much more.
Norma and Mike Delano initially opened The Country House in 1985 in the neighboring town of Snow Hill, before moving the store to its current spot in Salisbury. The seasonal décor shop is family-owned.
Innerbloom
Innerbloom, located at 2908 Philadelphia Ave. in the popular resort town of Ocean City, offers exquisite floral arrangements as well as an assortment of self-care items, jewelry, homeware and paper goodies.
From journals to candles to notecards, the options are plentiful at Innerbloom. The floral and gift shop, which opened in 2020, is owned and operated by a team of two — Meredith Moore and Hannah Bracht.
