Showing nipples is Rihanna’s biggest fashion ick moment: ‘I really did that?’
Rihanna is looking back at her fashion choices with regret in her heart. Over the years, the superstar has continuesly dominated the headlines with her unique yet daring fashion attires that showed a lot of her skin. While in the past, Riri may have loved it, but now the singer’s fashion choice has evolved a lot.
Speaking to British Vogue at a Fenty X Puma shoe release, the global superstar talked about the major change in her fashion style after becoming a mother. During her chat, the multi-hyphenate star shared the fashion choice that she feels disgusts her now.
“This is gonna sound hypocritical because I’ve done so much sh*t in my life. I’ve had my nipples out. I had my panties out.” she said.
Rihanna, who is now a mother of two RZA and Riot Rose, has a history of wearing bold outfits that showed a lot of her skin. One of the daring outfits that Rihanna has worn to date is her skin-bearing fishnet dress adorned with over 216,000 Swarovski crystals, which she wore to the CFDA Fashion Awards in 2014. The sheer attire exposed her nipples and G-string.
However, now the fondness for her nipples-baring outfit is over. Talking about the same, the singer said, ”But now, I guess those are the things that, as a mom… I’m an evolved young lady.”
Further talking, the ”Umbrella” singer named her 2014 and 2015 Met Gala ensemble as one of her fashion favourite moments. In 2014, the singer wore a Stella McCartney’s white long-sleeve crop top with a pencil skirt. The next attire that Rihanna loves is her imperial yellow gown with a huge train and regal flower embroidery.
A few days back, Rihanna shared that when it comes to dressing her sons, the biggest fashion inspiration is their father ASAP Rocky.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Rocky said, “When I dress them, I always try to dress them like Rocky.”
She added, “I always envision dressing a girl, right? We all do as women, like, ‘Oh, I’m going to dress her in these cute little things,’ but then you get sons and you’re like, ‘What do I do?’ and I was like, ‘You know what, I have the biggest hack — their dad.’ “
