ShowMe Leadercast to highlight local business leaders

Twelve Columbia business owners will be featured at the 10th annual ShowMe Leadercast event on Wednesday. It will take place in Columbia Woodcrest auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

The leaders will stand onstage alongside four business speakers and experts on leadership, in a simulcast. Their names are listed below:

  • Rory Vaden, New York Times bestselling author and founder of the Brand Builders Group
  • David Horsager, Wall Street Journal bestselling author and CEO of the Trust Edge Leadership Institute
  • Nicole Walters, author and podcaster
  • Ari Weinzweig, founding partner of Zingerman’s Community of Businesses

The nationally-renowned leaders will speak on goal setting, strong leadership habits, building trust within a team and visioning.

The event organizer, Fred Parry, says there will be opportunities for “audience engagement, wonderful door prizes, and games.” 

“It’s a great way to energize and rejuvenate key members on your staff as well as build a stronger sense of collaboration on your team,” said Parry.

Some of the local leaders at this event will be Columbia Police Chief Jill Schlude, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey and UM Board of Curators Chair Robin Wenneker.
