Signify Business Cash Card By Wells Fargo Review 2024
Signify Business Cash℠ Card by Wells Fargo* vs. The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card
Another flat-rate 2% cash-back card worth a look is The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card (Terms apply, see rates & fees). If your annual expenses are under $50,000 you’ll earn the same amount in cash back—but only 1% thereafter. Your rewards are automatically applied as statement credit freeing you to focus on more important things. The Amex Blue Business Cash also has no annual fee and offers a 0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months from the date of account opening, then a 18.49% – 26.49% variable APR applies.
The big downside to the Blue Business Cash Card is that the welcome bonus is significantly smaller: $250 statement credit after spending $3,000 in purchases in the first 3 months of account opening. You’ll also miss out on the Priority Pass Membership, but you’ll gain access to Amex Offers giving you more opportunities to boost your cash back. This tradeoff won’t make sense for most people. But if you wouldn’t pay from lounge access and want a card with higher ongoing earning potential, Amex Offers could help you save more on purchases you already make.
Signify Business Cash℠ Card by Wells Fargo* vs. Spark Cash Select from Capital One*
While it doesn’t earn 2% cash back, the Spark Cash Select from Capital One* should definitely be on your shortlist. The card earns 1.5% cash back on every purchase and 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel. The card also packs a hefty welcome bonus of $750 cash bonus after spending $6,000 in the first 3 months of account opening.
Gain more control with bookkeeping with year-end summaries, purchase records and the ability to assign an account manager. You’ll still get free employee cards with account alerts, but Capital One lets you set employee spending limits as well. This card forfeits lounge access and rental coverage, but you won’t pay foreign transaction fees. If you travel or purchase internationally, that’s a huge savings.
Signify Business Cash℠ Card by Wells Fargo* vs.U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card*
If your business expenses are concentrated into specific categories, the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card* could make more sense. You’ll earn 5% cash back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Travel Rewards Center, 3% cash back at gas and EV charging stations, office supply stores, cell phone service providers and restaurants and 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases. For sole proprietors, the welcome bonus is easier to obtain: $500 cash back after spending $4,500 in the first 150 days of opening the account. But keep in mind any spending on employee cards won’t help you qualify.
If you already carry credit card debt, you may appreciate that this card’s intro APR offer also applies to balance transfers: 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 billing cycles, followed by a regular APR of 19.24% – 28.24% variable. A balance transfer fee of either 3% of the amount of each transfer or $5 minimum, whichever is greater, applies. You can also receive a $100 statement credit for recurring software subscriptions like FreshBooks or QuickBooks. There’s no annual fee, but you will pay foreign transaction fees if your business travels take you outside the U.S.
