PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – SimplyKin Market will be hosting a Spring pop-up event at Point Park on Saturday May 11, 2024.

The event will have close to 40 local businesses, according to Tim Bennet, the co-owner of The Beard and The Bun Pottery. Tim says that there will be around 30 vendors, several food/drink trucks, live music from area musicians, and even yoga.

The pop-up will be from 3 – 8 p.m. at Point Park in Parkersburg.

Eva Bennet, to co-owner of The Beard and The Bun Pottery, said they wanted to help put this event together to bring makers and creators together with the community.

“We want to showcase, with this event, the amount of small businesses in the area that are providing goods and services that we can use in our everyday lives, which is not only a better option for us, the consumers, but our local economy and these very hard working makers!”

Eva added that they are fairly new to the small business community.

“We are both fairly new in this small business community and were both, almost immediately, overwhelmed with the amount of incredibly talented, dedicated and kind people in it, working either part time or full time to bring their art/talent to the MOV. Our goal with this market is to give these amazing entrepreneurs a space to share their craft, their service, their song and their art, at no cost to them or the public (this event has free admission).”

The Beard and The Bun Pottery, along with SipsCoffee Truck, are cohosting the event
