Skimboarding world champions decided at Exile Oktoberfest in Newport Beach

The Exile Oktoberfest brought the world’s best skimboarders to battle it out at the Balboa Pier in Newport Beach for the coveted championship titles.

The contest was the last event on the United Skim Tour, which makes stops at various beaches across the globe. Top men and women skimboarders came from around the world – as far as Brazil, Mexico and Japan – to try and claim top spots.

The two-top ranked female skimboarders – Chabe White of Mexico and Julia Dias of Brazil – battled it out, with White the ultimate victor and now the world championship.
