Skydance, Blumhouse and Pinterest Chiefs are Announced as Speakers for Variety Entertainment and Technology Summit

Variety will return with its annual Entertainment and Technology Summit presented by City National Bank on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles, featuring such elite speakers as comedian Iliza Schlesinger; Skydance chief creative officer Dana Goldberg; Blumhouse president Abhijay Prakash; Pinterest chief content officer Malik Ducard; Parkwood Entertainment SVP Justina Omokhua, and Eli Collins, VP Deep Mind, Google.

The day-long conference, open for registration here, explores the intersection of the two industries and technology’s impact on TV, film, gaming, music, digital media and consumer brands.

Schlesinger, host of “Ask Iliza Anything,” will join the Podcast All-Stars panel also featuring Jesse Tyler Ferguson, host of “Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson”; Whitney Cummings, host of “Good For You”; and Jenna Ushkowitz, host of “And That’s What You REALLY Missed.”

Ducard, Goldberg and Prakash will join the Entertainment Content Visionaries roundtable, also including Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios, AMC Networks.

Omokhua is part of the panel discussion Power Couple: Entrepreneurship + Entertainment additionally featuring Asad Qizilbash, president of PlayStation Productions; Asa Kalama, VP and executive creative director, Disney Imagineering; and Donald Mustard, partner at AGBO.

Eli Collins, VP Deep Mind, Google joins Phil Wiser, CTO at Paramount Global, and Victoria Bousis, director and creative technologist on the panel discussion “Generative AI – Succeeding with the Genie Out of the Bottle.”

The panel discussion Marketer Renaissance – Masters of Storytelling Across Platforms features Mike Benson, CMO at CBS; Danielle Bekas, EVP of international marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures; Danielle De Palma, EVP of global marketing at Paramount Pictures; Kristine Segrist, VP of consumer marketingat Canva; and Jennifer Storms, CMO of entertainment and sports at NBCUniversal.
