SNF open thread: Vikings-Lions gambling lines and picks for tonight’s game

Not since John Snow and Ramsay Bolton duked it out on Game of Thrones have we seen a battle for the North like this! The NFC North is on the line in the final game of Week 18 and the 2024 regular season as the Minnesota Vikings go head-to-head with the Detroit Lions.

Also, the Vikings and Lions are playing for the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs to add some extra drama to the contest. So, we’re in for a great matchup between two of the NFL’s best teams this year and this could be an NFC Championship Game preview.

The Lions have proven that they can overcome injuries over the last several weeks, but the Vikings aren’t getting talked about enough as one of the best teams in the league. Minnesota lost the first matchup between these two and then against Los Angeles on short rest with a Thursday night game, and that’s it. So, I like the Vikings to pull off the upset and split the season series.
