High School Football 2024: South Jersey schedules and scores for the season

Saturday, Oct. 26

Haddon Heights 7, Northern Burlington 0: Garnets senior Damier Outterbridge-Ali ran 61 yards on the third play from scrimmage in the second half as Heights won for the second time in eight games. Playing quarterback, Outterbridge-Ali ended the afternoon with 77 yards on 18 carries

The Greyhounds fell to 4-5 for the season. Sophomore Brent Walulak passed for 91 yards on 13-for-21 attempts. Andrew Reynolds caught seven passes for 44 yards.

KIPP Cooper Norcross 44, Bishop Eustace 25: Xyere Brooks scored a pair of touchdowns and Davion Ross-Ways accounted for two more as KIPP improved to 6-3. Brooks had a three-yard run and a 69-ysard kickoff return. Ross-Ways threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Michale Morton and closed out the win with a 13-yard TD run.

Moyston McIntosh chipped in with a 35-yard scoring run. Yah’San Cosby tossed a 13-yard TD pass to Jykhai Boyd. The KIPP defense got into the act as well, with a safety.

Roman Faiola ran for a Crusaders’ touchdown and threw for another. Faiola (11-for-20, 167 yards passing) started of the scoring with a three-yard run, then connected with Brandon Hartman on a 24-yard score before halftime.

Makhi Simmons, from two yards, and Noah Glenn from 10 yards out, added rushing touchdowns in an ill-fated comeback bid. Eustace is 6-3 for the season. Simmons had 20 carries for 89 yards. Delano Mann caught eight passes for 104 yards.

Penns Grove 27, Salem 0: Ka’Ron Ceaser scored three touchdowns to lead the Red Devils to their second win in nine games. Ceaser (151 yards rushing) scored on runs of four and 27 yards plus a six-yard pass from Melo Erickson.

Tre Brown contributed a 25-yard fumble return touchdown in the win.

Salem remained winless through nine games.

Winslow 44, Cherokee 0: Cam Miller had two touchdowns and two interceptions and Jalen Parker tossed four touchdown passes as the Eagles ended their regular season with their ninth win. Miller scored on a 22-yard TD pass and returned a punt 45 yards for a score.

Parker added two TD passes to Marcus Upton (24 and 24 yards) and a 29-yarder to TJ Maddox. NaKeem Powell added a 20-yard interception return score. Senior lineman Malachi Brown completed the scoring as the end target of a five-yard hock-and-lateral.

Cherokee is 4-5 heading into Group 5 playoff seeding this weekend. The visitor’s offense managed 106 total yards in the game, 55 on the ground.
