Southwest Airlines Launches “Summer of Go” Sweepstakes with Exciting Weekly Travel Prizes – Travel And Tour World

On June 25, 2024, Southwest Airlines kicked off the “Summer of Go” sweepstakes, giving customers weekly opportunities to win one of ten alluring travel packages to premier vacation spots. Starting today, those interested can visit Southwest.fm/SummerofGo to discover more details and participate in the contest.

This week’s draw features a travel package to Colorado Springs, Colorado. A lucky winner will get round-trip airfare for themselves and a guest on Southwest Airlines® to Colorado Springs, plus 5,000 Rapid Rewards® bonus points, a three-night stay at the Element Colorado Springs Downtown hotel, a $300 Visa® gift card for activities in the area, and a $250 Visa gift card for transportation.

Southwest plans to announce new destinations on a weekly basis throughout the sweepstakes. Participants will also receive a promotional code each week that can be used for discounted fares to that week’s highlighted destination on Southwest.com.

The sweepstakes will be showcased by content creators like Anna Paige Morgan (@annapaigemorgan), Charlotte Thompson (@charfromchicago), Jasmine Alley (@JasmineAlley), Payton Cavin (@mellowyellowpay), and Shem Hooda (@sugarandstamps). They will feature videos from their trips to these locations, offering tips on top attractions and activities.

Moreover, Southwest has recently launched “Wanna Go Wednesdays,” where customers can find exceptional low fares for upcoming trips each Wednesday on Southwest.com.

During flights, passengers can explore more about various Southwest destinations through the Inflight Entertainment Portal which features the “Southwest Destinations On Demand” TV series. The onboard experience also includes a flight tracker from FlightPath3D and access to Destination Reels. These short videos showcase top local experiences and are reviewed by well-known travel blogs. Travelers can explore top trending experiences, curated playlists, and even create their own itineraries using the portal’s trip planning feature.
