WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Boys NAC hockey on the agenda on New Year’s Eve with 2 afternoon contests on the docket.
State-ranked #6 Ogdensburg at Norwood- Norfolk.
Blue Devils immediately take control, testing goaltender Archer Dafoe who makes one of his 46 saves.
Just 78 seconds into the contest, Nikolai Ramsdell whips a shot from the point that trickles off Dafoe and into the net. 1-0 OFA.
30 seconds later, Tegan Frederick takes the puck in the slot and finds the hole. Blue Devils up two.
Gavin Moran with a shot from the top of the circle. On the rebound, Aidan O’Neil circles the net and stuffs the puck home. OFA leads 3-0.
Tyler Sovie quick-blasts a shot from the right circle and scores.
Into the second period, Ramsdell from the point finds Moran at the corner of the net, but the goal is waived off, with the net off its mooring.
Blue Devils set up another chance for Moran who fights through the scrum and gets his goal this time. 5-0 Blue Devils.
Gavin Sessions is stopped by Kaden Bogart. Sessions would score the only goal for Norwood Norfolk.
OFA goes on to beat Norwood Norfolk 7-1.
