Stunning iOS 19 Concept Shows How Apple Could Enhance Lock Screen Customizations With Stickers And Boost Apple Intelligence Utilities
Apple has already started working on its next version of iOS, and this time around, we will see some pretty nifty upgrades for Apple Intelligence, as well as visual changes. While the general design language of the UI will remain the same, the company will make sure that the platform feels refreshed. A designer and concept creator, Oofus has shared what he envisions iOS 19 to be like in terms of visuals and Apple Intelligence enhancements.
New iOS 19 concept highlights customization tools in Messages, Lock Screen, and much more
iOS 19 is scheduled to be released in the second half of next year, but considering the company’s gradual rollout of Apple Intelligence utilities for iOS 18, major features for next year’s update could be delayed as well. The latest iOS 19 concept showcases clever ideas on how the operating system can become more user-friendly and a joy to use.
The first new addition that the concept shows for iOS 19 is support for stickers on the Lock Screen, allowing users to place them anywhere on the interface. This opens doors for more customization controls, and this could become a reality if the company considers it part of its ongoing efforts to give users more control. The concept also shows a new ‘Flick’ feature that works with AirDrop to send photos and videos more easily than the current iteration. While AirDrop is pretty fast as it is, the process could be a little more streamlined.
You can also see in the concept embedded below how users can change the theme in Messages. The basic user interface of the Messages has remained the same for years now, and it would be great if Apple added a little color to it with the release of iOS 19. The concept also shows a new screenshot interface that makes it easier for users to maneuver the stills. You can also see Apple Intelligence enhancements in the Photos app, which are conducted through Siri. Siri would have more control over the contents of the device and give users relevant information based on the queries.
We must take the concept with a grain of salt, no matter how appealing it is, as it is not guaranteed that it will materialize in the upcoming update. As mentioned, the company has already started working on iOS 19, which will be showcased to the world at the company’s WWDC event in June 2025.
