The New Mastersounds come to Aspen as part of the Jazz Aspen Snowmass June Experience. They play at the Belly Up Aspen on June 21. The New Mastersounds are celebrating their 25th anniversary.




The Basalt Summer Concert Series will be held Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the new stage in the Basalt River Park. All supporting acts are Colorado-based and will perform from 5:30-6:30 p.m, with the headliner coming on at 7 p.m. Bring your own blanket, picnic and lawn chairs.

Town of Basalt Friday Night Local Vocal Series, May 31 to Sept. 6

The town of Basalt is also debuting a new music series at Triangle Park in Willits called The Friday Night Local Vocal Series, which runs every other Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. Food is available from restaurants in Willits or bring a picnic and a lawn chair.

Snowmass Summer Concert Series, June 13-Aug. 22 

Snowmass hosts free concerts on Fanny Hill in Snowmass Village every Thursday night from 5:30-8:30 p.m. This local’s favorite, long standing summer tradition begins at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The lineup features a wide spectrum of genres each week including country, reggae, rock, funk, celtic, bluegrass and more. Prior to the concert, local musicians play from the Base Village Events Lawn from 4 p.m to 5:30 p.m.

Aspen Snowmass Bluegrass Sundays, June 16-Sept. 1

Aspen Mountain hosts a free Bluegrass Sunday series from noon to 3 p.m. on the Sundeck. A gondola ticket is required.

Jazz Aspen Snowmass presents JAS June Experience, June 20-23

The JAS June Experience features over 20 acts at 12 different venues around town.

“The JAS June Experience lineup has something for everyone — blues, jazz, soul, gospel, New Orleans music and more,” JAS CEO Andrea Beard said. “You may not recognize every name, but we promise you’ll walk away each night with new favorites.” There are individual day tickets and two and three day bundles as well.

2024 Aspen Music Festival 75th anniversary June 26-Aug. 18

The Aspen Music Festival hosts more than 200 events over the course of the eight-week festival. There are over three dozen concerts held at Harris Concert Hall and at the Klein Music Tent. There are also festival events at the Wheeler Opera House.

Jazz Aspen Snowmass presents JAS Café Summer Series 

The JAS Café Summer Series features six diverse performances on the Rooftop Cafe at the Aspen Art Museum with two performances a night at 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. On Aug. 19, the series showcases the JAS Academy Afro-Caribbean Big Band students with special guests at the Hotel Jerome Ballroom.
