Summer Jobs for Students Now Available!

Summer jobs can serve as stepping stones for teenagers and young adults entering the job market.

A job can help build confidence and experience needed post graduation and can help students save up for school supplies required in the coming year – the cost of books, a laptop and a phone really add up! Even simple luxuries like movie tickets and coffees are so much sweeter when spending your own money.

In Alaska, summer holds a special charm when the sun emerges and students enjoy a break from school. The best of both worlds can be utilizing free time by making money while enjoying the sun!

Opportunities for Students, Ages 16-22

Summer job opportunities are now available through Alaska Housing! Students between the ages of 16 and 22 are eligible to apply for summer work that could include groundskeeping, building maintenance or office work.
