Sunrate and Voxel partnered to make it easier for Voxel and its clients to scale and expand in the Asia-Pacific region.

With this collaboration, Sunrate’s virtual card issuing engine will join Voxel’s payment solution, Bavel Pay, with the Sunrate virtual credit cards allowing the settlement of card spending in more than 15 currencies, the companies said in a Tuesday (May 28) press release.

The partnership also brings Sunrate commercial cards into Voxel’s suite of payment options so that Voxel partners can select the payment method they use for each transaction, according to the release.

“Thanks to the incorporation of Sunrate into our Bavel Pay payment provider hub, we expand our offering to all our clients by giving them access to a partner specialized in the Asia-Pacific region,” Héctor Martin, vice president of global sales at Voxel, said in the release.

The new offering joins Voxel’s electronic invoice and B2B payment solutions for travel sellers, hotels and other players in the travel industry, per the release.

Voxel provides payments services for travel sellers and an automated solution for managing invoices for tour operators, travel management companies, hotel aggregators and hotels, according to the release.

“Sunrate has been revolutionizing travel B2B payments, and this partnership with Voxel puts us firmly on track to be the one-stop B2B partner for the travel industry as we remain committed to continuously innovate our online travel solution offerings,” Sunrate General Manager Coco He said in the release.

In another move by Sunrate, the company said in April that it added Apple Pay to its global payment and treasury platform, offering the company’s commercial credit card customers a safer, more secure and private way to pay.

The addition allows Sunrate customers to make contactless in-store payments with their iPhone or Apple Watch, as well as in-app and online purchases with their iPhone, iPad or iMac.

Voxel was acquired by Amadeus in March, with Amadeus saying at the time that the addition of Voxel’s eInvoicing and B2B payments tools to the Amadeus portfolio will ensure smooth payments and help corporate customers further automate aspects of the business travel experience like reservation, payments and expense management.
