Supernatural Together allows members to connect in virtual, real-time workouts
Supernatural, the engaging VR fitness platform, has introduced Supernatural Together, a new feature that allows athletes to engage in real-time group workouts. VR Fitness traditionally considered a solo workout, is now social and community-oriented.
Supernatural has added several features that allow users to connect in real-time through the platform. The new “Play with Friends” feature allows athletes to join a private room with up to two friends for a supportive workout setting. For users who love Supernatural’s popular boxing or flow workouts, it’s now possible to match up against others in real-time.
Users can also communicate through voice chat and create customizable avatars with unique styles and colors. Lastly, new Challenge Zones and Victory Tunnels demand teamwork and coordination with other members, and teams receive points for hitting specific goals.
VR Fitness has grown in popularity with those who feel intimidated by live group fitness classes, or those who need a more engaging workout to increase their motivation. Supernatural, in particular, has resonated with those who want a fun-first workout or who might be new to the fitness world. Some of the classes are set in exotic locations, from Cairo, Egypt, to the Moon, and involve swinging around a lightsaber-like visual to hit targets. Now, users have extra motivation to return to the platform: real-time competition and collaboration.
Supernatural is available on Meta Quest headsets, and its subscription-based service costs $99.99 annually or $9.99 per month. New Meta Quest users can enjoy a special introductory rate of $49.99/year for their first 12 months.
