Support local business with Shop Oberlin digital gift card
The Shop Oberlin digital gift card program, which is designed to boost community engagement and champion local businesses, recently was launched, according to a news release from Sharon Pearson, interim executive director of the Oberlin Business Partnership.
The program, managed by Yiftee and secured by Mastercard, is a new go-to for supporting Oberlin businesses, Pearson said in the release.
The Shop Oberlin digital gift card is a city-wide digital community card program.
With just one gift card, you can visit 19 participating businesses — and counting — including coffee shops, bookstores, flower shops, hardware stores and retail spots, Pearson said.
“It’s the perfect way to explore Oberlin and give back to the community you love,” she said in the release.
To celebrate the launch, the Oberlin Business Partnership offers a 20% bonus for each card purchased while supplies last, Pearson said.
“Use one to make the most of the bonus funds, or gift one to friends and family with a personalized message,” she said in the release. “Local businesses and corporations, take note: the Shop Oberlin Card is a fantastic alternative to big-brand gift cards, perfect for employee appreciation, holiday gifts and client rewards.
“Show your support for Oberlin merchants and invest in the heart of our community.”
