Surveillance footage captures car flipping, nearly crashing into Lexington business

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Surveillance cameras captured the moment a car nearly crashed into a Lexington business.

The crash happened at Midland Avenue and Short Street just before 2 p.m on Friday.

The vehicle narrowly missed hitting CycleYOU.

Surveillance cameras at CycleYOU captured the moment of the crash.

One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Crews believe a medical emergency likely caused the crash.

We are told one of the workers rushed to help until crews arrived.

Midland Avenue was closed toward Main Street, but the road is now back open.
