T-Mobile Customer Suffers Horrible Ordeal When The Carrier Misplaced Her And Her Son’s iPhone 12 mini And iPhone 12 That Were Given For A trade-In Offer

Carrier’s trade-in deals are an excellent way to upgrade to a new smartphone without feeling the weight of the purchase, but there is a certain waiting time required for the customer. Unfortunately, on this occasion, a TikTok user with the handle trisha0208 shared a painful story of how T-Mobile lost her and her son’s iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12, respectively, when a company representative lured her into opting for a trade-in offer. She recounts how the carrier has misplaced both devices, putting her in a difficult situation.

Customer also received a bill that was $80 higher because her trade-in phones were not processed by T-Mobile, causing her even more distress

Trisha’s TikTok video has garnered almost 4,400 likes as she explains in the video below that she and her son made a trip to T-Mobile to obtain an iPhone 15 through a trade-in offer. One individual from the carrier informed her of an excellent deal, and she decided to proceed with it. To expedite the process and to have peace of mind that nothing would get lost in transit, Trisha delivered her iPhone 12 mini and her son’s iPhone 12 to the T-Mobile store by hand, where both handsets would later get shipped to the warehouse.

She immediately noticed that something was off when she received an email stating that she needed to get her trade-in value before the time window expired. After calling T-Mobile, she was informed by customer services that it would take a few weeks for the devices to arrive and get registered at the warehouse. Afterwards, Trisha received an update, saying that the phones have arrived and are being processed, delivering some relief to the T-Mobile customer, but the worst was yet to come.

For months, Trisha did not hear from the carrier, and when she received a bill in September that was $80 higher than it should have been, she knew things were seriously wrong. She returned to the physical outlet, where the store manager and representative helped her get in touch with the corporate department. Unfortunately, she was informed that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini could not be located. Trisha was misled into believing that the phones had reached the warehouse, which obviously means that T-Mobile is responsible.

However, one T-Mobile employee states that Trisha made a mistake because she dropped off the handsets at the physical store, but that cannot be true because the company representative advised her to do so in the first place. One samaritan on TikToker has recommended Trisha to call the police and file a report for theft, as it is possible that staff may be involved in the crime. The customer has yet to update us on this development, but we will follow up in the future.
