Tarleton State travels east for The Judson Monday-Tuesday – Tarleton State University Athletics

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – After a trip out west and a visit to Northern Arizona, the Texans are once again on the road, this time traveling the opposite direction for The Judson Oct. 28-29.
 
The two-day event will get underway on Monday as the team will play 36 holes. The first 18 will get underway at 8 a.m. followed by the middle 18 in the afternoon on Monday. The final 18 will take place on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The Judson will take place at the Hattiesburg Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss.
 
The lineup for the Purple and White will be as followed. Mathilde Brogens will assume the No. 1 spot for the first time this fall season followed by Lou Deltombe. Louise Depadt will assume the No. 3 hole. Elle Fox returns to the lineup as she will start in the No. 4 spot while Darianys Guzman will round things out in the No. 5 hole. Rebeca Fernandez will compete as an individual.
 
Tarleton State is one of 10 teams competing in this year’s event. The schools participating are Alabama State, Belmont, Jacksonville State, Lamar, Mississippi College, University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of North Alabama, Western Illinois and host, University of Southern Mississippi.
 
Last time the Texans were in action, they claimed their fourth-straight top-10 finish this fall as the Purple and White finished tied for eighth at The Clash at Boulder Creek hosted by Northern Arizona.
 
Live scoring will be available for the entire 54 holes.
