Tatler’s weekly horoscope: November 17-23
Tatler’s astrologer Casey Chan explains why we should ‘expect the unexpected next week’ in our weekly horoscope column
Next week is packed with communications between the planets, with the highlight being Pluto’s official entry into humanitarian Aquarius.
To kick off next week, we have the sun in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus, a day ripe for surprises. This aspect could bring disruptions to the surface, ones that have been brewing since the last full moon, “expect the unexpected” could just be our mantra. The sun then trines Neptune in Pisces, a supportive interaction that creates space for our emotions and intuition to flow. This could be an ideal time to cultivate compassion, practice forgiveness and master the art of detachment—all positive Piscean traits.
On November 18, Mercury in Sagittarius opposes Jupiter in Gemini. This alignment encourages us to remain open and curious, reminding us not to take everything at face value. If you find yourself overwhelmed by information, prioritise your mental health by taking nourishing breaks and unplugging when necessary. Two days later, Pluto moves into Aquarius, where it will stay for the next 20 years. This transition from Capricorn to Aquarius encourages a shift from tradition to innovation. The water-bearer sign knows how to celebrate uniqueness, instead of complying blindly. For the next two decades, expect collective transformations as we break free from societal moulds—a pivotal moment in our individual and collective evolution.
Finally, we have the sun entering free-spirited Sagittarius on November 22, which ignites our adventurous side. Over the next month, we will feel a surge of optimism and a desire to explore, making it a perfect time for travel or dive into new studies.
