Taylor Momsen Bares Her Abs — and NSFW Pasties — During Rare NYFW Appearance: See the Bold Look

Taylor Momsen has nothing to hide — at least not with her latest red carpet moment. 

The Gossip Girl alum, 31, stepped out for a rare public appearance at New York Fashion Week for the KidSuper Funny Business comedy and fashion show in collaboration with Lovesac on Sept. 9. 

Keeping true to the edgy rocker look she’s formed over the years, the singer — who’s the frontwoman of her band, The Pretty Reckless — went topless under an all-black outfit. 

Momsen took a risk and went topless under her printed jacket, which put her toned abs on full display. She also wore pasties that looked like duct tape. 

Her glam consisted of a mauve smokey eye, contoured cheekbones and a nude lip, while her hair was kept in loose waves.

Back when the How the Grinch Stole Christmas star chatted with PEOPLE in 2021, she said of her new era, “I was a little wild.” She then clarified, “But I don’t think I was the ass—- that everyone made me out to be. I was young, and I was going through my rebellious teenage years.” 

“The phase was the stripper heels and the outrageous outfits,” she said. “But at the time, that didn’t feel like a phase. That was very much who I was and how I was comfortable dressing. Like anyone, I grew and I matured. But rock and roll was never a phase.”

Though carpets events are a rare occasion for Momsen, the rock star has brought her aesthetic to life onstage, performing in slip dresses, moto jackets and statement smokey eye makeup. 

Momsen and her band recently opened the AC/DC Power Up Tour in Europe.
