Taylor Swift continues to break records, but her latest tops a coveted list.

According to Forbes, Swift, 34, is now the richest woman musician in the world.

Swift was first reported as a billionaire in October 2023, with most of her earnings coming from her expansive music catalog, as well as her ongoing Eras Tour. Almost a year later, Forbes has updated her page on its website, detailing her estimated net worth at $1.6 billion.

The publication notes that Swift is “the first musician to make the billionaire ranking primarily based on her songs and performances.” Forbes also reports that Swift’s fortune “includes nearly $600 million amassed from royalties and touring, plus a music catalog worth an estimated $600 million and some $125 million in real estate.” In addition to becoming the richest woman musician in the world, she is also the second richest musician in the world, behind rapper Jay-Z.

The past year has been a busy one for the “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” hitmaker. Back in April, she released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. The album reached the top of the Billboard 200 for 15 non-consecutive weeks. During the album’s cycle, Swift has released and promoted multiple variants of the album, with new demos, bonus tracks, and live recordings.

She has also updated the set list of her Eras Tour to include songs from The Tortured Poets Department.

As Swift has been on break from the Eras Tour, she has made a few appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games, where she’s been supporting her boyfriend, Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce.

Though fans noticed she was absent from last Sunday’s game, as well as Kelce’s 35th birthday celebration on Saturday, October 5. However, TMZ reports Swift will appear at the Chiefs game on Monday, October 7, when the Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints.

Swift is also gearing up for the final leg of the Eras Tour, which resumes Friday, October 18 in Miami Gardens, Florida.
