Tazewell business celebrates nine years on Main Street

TAZEWELL, Va. (WVVA) – Between Friends boutique gift shop celebrates nine years of business on main street in Tazewell.

After opening the business in 2006, owner Vickie Boothe relocated to main street in 2015. Boothe says she moved to main street in hopes to join the growing economic community.

While the business has been serving the town for a total of 18 years, Boothe tells us that moving to the new location nine years ago fulfilled her dream.

The boutique sells locally crafted and handmade merchandise.

“It sort of was a little girl dream,” Boothe said. “I grew up here in Tazewell, and hung out on this Main Street many, many times when there were a lot of businesses. So, when I was offered the location, I actually first said no and my husband said, you gotta do it. So, that brought us to Main Street.”

Between Friends is open weekdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
