Tazewell business hosts event for children with the Grinch

TAZEWELL, Va. (WVVA) – The Grinch made a friendly appearance at a local business to interact with children.

Clothing Palette and More, a shop on Main Street in Tazewell, hosted an event for kids on Sunday, Dec. 15. Kids in attendance had the chance to participate in bingo and coloring, with a limbo competition as well.

The store also offered hair tinsel and temporary tattoos, accompanied by a hot chocolate snack bar. The owner of the store says it was heartwarming to see all the kids having fun.

“It just warms my heart so much. Christmas is about the children, and to see it through a child’s eyes, it just warms our heart so much,” said Misty McCann, owner of the store.

Clothing Palette and More will be hosting another Christmas event next Sunday, Dec. 22, from 1p.m. to 5 p.m. with Santa and friends. For more information, you can find them on Facebook.
