Teen detained after stabbing incident at Southwest Baltimore business

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore Police detained a 17-year-old boy after an 18-year-old man was stabbed at a business in Southwest Baltimore on Tuesday.

Officers on patrol on the southwest side of the city were asked to investigate an “aggravated assault by cutting” in the 3200 block of Frederick Avenue around 7:15 p.m., according to authorities.

That’s where they found the18-year-old man suffering from a stab wound that did not endanger his life, police said.

An ambulance took the man to a local hospital, and he is considered to be in stable condition, according to authorities.

Police said that the 17-year-old boy was taken into custody following the stabbing.
