Tell Us

We want to know what local concert, comedy show, or theater experience stands out from the last year.

Chappell Roan at Boston Calling, Pearl Jam, comedian Nate Bargatze, Pink, Noah Kahan, and Kristin Chenoweth in “The Queen of Versailles” were among the live local highlights of 2024.

This was a big year for Boston-area live concerts and events. Like, huge.

There were the usual Gillette Stadium spectacles, with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Zach Bryan, Metallica, and Pink; an explosion of shows at Fenway Park, including Lana Del Rey, Noah Kahan, Green Day, Pearl Jam, and Post Malone; and full slates at Boston’s newest venues, MGM Music Hall at Fenway and Roadrunner. (Artists making stops at one of those venues included Dropkick Murphys, Bleachers, Bonnie Raitt, Lizzy McAlpine, James Taylor, Clairo, Leon Bridges … we could go on all day.) And then there was Boston Calling, of course.

Then you can throw in TD Garden, Boston’s busy collection of theaters, its small venues and clubs, and the options that have been popping up outside the city. And when you consider events beyond concerts — live theater, comedy, and lecture events come to mind — nailing down the best local live experiences becomes almost impossible.

That’s where you come in. List your favorite local (i.e. in Massachusetts) concert, play, musical, lecture, comedy show, etc. from 2024 in the form below, or email [email protected], and if you’re so inclined, let us know what made it so great. We may include your response in a future article.

What was your favorite concert or live event in 2024?
