Temecula Business Robbed, 1 Suspect Arrested: Sheriff
TEMECULA, CA — One person was arrested Thursday morning after a robbery near Jedediah Smith Road and Temecula Parkway, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Southwest Sheriff’s Station.
Just after 9 a.m., deputies responded to a business in the 31000 block of Temecula Parkway in Temecula for a report of a robbery, according to Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez.
A witness told dispatch operators that “a man was stealing merchandise from the store and was actively fighting an employee.” The suspect fled the location before the deputies arrived at the scene.

According to Brito-Gonzalez, one suspect was arrested after a two-hour search. No additional information was immediately available.
