Texas Association of Business joins with Special Olympics to bring more jobs to Texans

SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Association of Business joined with Special Olympics Texas to announce an agreement to create more employment opportunities for Texans with special needs.

Local officials and community leaders including State Representative John Lujan, and the Texas Workforce Commissioner, met today at Mi Tierra for the announcement.

“A lot of times employers don’t really understand…Understand the programs,” said Board Secretary and former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos.

Pablos says a group of industry leaders has been created as well, to make sure this is implemented throughout the workforce.
