AUSTIN, Texas – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Representative Monica De La Cruz for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Texas’ 15th Congressional District.

“We are proud to endorse Representative Monica De La Cruz,” said Jeff Burdett, NFIB Texas State Director. “As a small business owner, Representative De La Cruz has been a powerful voice for Main Street in Congress while prioritizing the issues most important to our members. As a NFIB Guardian of Small Business, her voting record stands strong at 100%. Rep. De La Cruz also supports the Main Street Tax Certainty Act to save small businesses from a massive tax hike by making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. We look forward to continuing to work with her.”

“We are confident Representative Monica De La Cruz will continue to be a leader for Texas’ small businesses in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Her experience as a small business owner has been instrumental when it comes to standing up for pro-small business policy, and we are pleased to endorse her today.”

For 80 years, NFIB has been advocating on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners, both in Washington, D.C., and in all 50 state capitals. NFIB is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member-driven. Since our founding in 1943, NFIB has been exclusively dedicated to small and independent businesses, and remains so today.
