The Carter Foundation partners up with Academy Sports to host Support the Youth Kick-off event

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -Sunday, the Carter Foundation partnered up with Academy Sports to host a support the youth kick-off event.

The event was a fun-filled day for children, featuring bounce houses, free food, drinks, and entertainment. The kids had a blast playing kickball and making memories with new friends.

This is the start of many wonderful events that the Carter Foundation will host throughout the year, as James Carter’s primary goal is for everyone to scream support the youth, not just in our area but across the state.

“We’re here today to support the youth, so we feel amazing to see everybody coming together to kick off as there are many more events to come. We’re going to continue to scream support the youth until it just sinks in. We hope that it’s spread and is contagious, and we support all youth, not just the Carter Foundation youth, but all youth in the state of Mississippi and Alabama as a whole; we want to support our youth. So to kind of see everybody standing together, it’s a blessing. It’s amazing,” says James Carter, founder of the Carter Foundation.

With the success of this event, the Carter Foundation is excited to announce that more events are in the works for the coming months.
