The Conjuring House told to close — but owner continues with reservations

Despite losing its business license, the owner of The Conjuring House plans to keep the attraction open, and local officials have vowed to take action.

On Oct. 22, Rhode Island’s Department of Labor and Training ordered the business to close due to operating without workers’ compensation insurance since May, The Providence Journal wrote. The house needed to “immediately suspend the operation of its business and remain suspended until” it provided proof of insurance, the newspaper reported.
